About Clarity Solutions

Clarity Solutions was founded by Brian Davidson.  Some of his accomplishments and duties as the former State E-rate Coordinator for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction include:

• In 2002, helped North Carolina school districts successfully secure over $22 million in additional E-rate funding over 2001
• In the same year, helped districts cut denial rates by over 30%
• Represented all North Carolina public schools for the CCSSO E-rate Alliance 
• Served in multiple distance learning and project planning roles for the Instructional Technology Division of NCDPI 

Brian is the FIRST private consultant in the southeast to join E-mpa, the E-rate Management Professionals Association. His education and experience span many relevant disciplines, all critical to thoroughly understanding the impact of E-rate:

• B.S. in Accounting from Appalachian State University
• M.Ed. from UNC-Greensboro
• Post-graduate studies in Education Administration, Policy & Law at N.C. State University and Charlotte School of Law
• Audited multi-million dollar corporations at KMPG Peat Marwick
• Taught in a public high school classroom
• Studied under NC State Superintendent Mike Ward
• Provided technical support for NCDPI and IBM
